Depending on the drawdown fund, these assets can incorporate motion graphics, sound design, music, and archival footage. - **The Production Slate:** A clear, scoped lineup detailing the exact media the company should produce next, based on what was proven to work during the engagement. ## How this works The engagement has four phases: immersion, prototyping, testing & distribution, and slate development. ### Immersion - The director embeds within the company to conduct extensive, on-the-record interviews with founders and key operators. - The goal is to build a foundational understanding of the company's vision, mechanics, and core narrative. ### Prototyping - As themes emerge from the interviews, the drawdown fund is used to begin testing concepts. - We shoot b-roll, develop visual language, and produce short pieces of media to see the story in practice. ### Testing & Distribution - Prototyped media can be distributed during the engagement to gather real-world feedback on performance. - This allows for rapid iteration and adjustments to the narrative and format based on what actually resonates. ### Slate Development - The prototyped media, raw archive, and performance feedback are reviewed to identify the strongest narratives. - This informs the Production Slate: a clear, scoped lineup of the exact media the company should produce next. ## Pricing & Structure - **Retainer:** A set fee for the strategic consulting and embedded direction. - **Drawdown Fund:** A pre-committed production budget (e.g. \$20k to \$50k) that sits alongside the retainer. - Charged at cost plus 20%. - Any unused portion is returned to the client at the end of the engagement.
