On February 20th, 2026 I recorded a conversation with [[Greg Isenberg]] about how I’m using [[Obsidian]] and [[Claude Code]] to speed up my learning, pattern recognition, and overall output. One of my goals was to bring attention to how absurd this shift is in the way we interact with computers. I was hoping to show things in a way that functioned, even a little, as a port of entry into a new way of thinking about [[Artificial Intelligence]] and the way that we can use [[LLMs]] to learn more about ourselves and our work. I started the conversation by giving a general explanation of [[Claude Code]] and then a general explanation of [[Obsidian]] and the I started to explain how I had combined them into one integrated system through unique [[Obsidian Commands]] and the way I embedded my own terminal plugin right into the software. ![[Screenshot 2026-02-24 at 8.02.34 PM 1.png]] The response to the conversation has been very strong. And it’s made me think that perhaps I should make an expanded video on how I’m using [[Obsidian]] that goes into some of the things that I did not explore in the video, like how my Vault is constructed and how I think about linking things together and why.
I think some things that would be interesting would be: your vault structure (use of folders/tags/properties), and watching a typical writing/thinking session @kepano, February 24, 2026
I have also been thinking about releasing my [[Obsidian]] theme and the terminal plugin I created so that others can get set up with this in the same way I have. Also as a way for people to interact with [[Obsidian]] in the same way I am and to see what kind of feedback they share about it or how they expand on it in some way. **Resources:** - [[How I Use Obsidian + Claude Code to Run My Life (2026) - Transcript]]
